Ed Sheeran Joins the 2026 Summerfest Lineup With Myles Smith

Summerfest — still "The World's Largest Music Festival" by most reasonable accounts — just got its marquee booking. Ed Sheeran headlines the American Family Insurance Amphitheater at the Summerfest grounds on Thursday, June 25, with British singer-songwriter Myles Smith as support. It's part of Summerfest's 11-concert amphitheater run for the 2026 edition, which also features Post Malone, Jelly Roll, Muse, Don Toliver, and a headlining turn from Garth Brooks on the opening nights.

Summerfest sprawls across the 75-acre Henry Maier Festival Park on the Lake Michigan shoreline, and amphitheater admission is included with a standard festival ticket for the smaller stages. The Ed Sheeran booking is one of the biggest pop-scale draws the festival has landed in years.

If you're going: Summerfest runs across three weekends. Park-and-ride shuttles from the southern suburbs are the easiest way in. The amphitheater shows have reserved seating; bring an ID for the beer garden.
